Vane is a 18W round downlight recessed into the ceiling · Ø170 mm. Its black inner reflector directs light downwards at a controlled angle while leaving the source in shadow; because the ceiling aperture reads dark rather than lit, attention goes to the surface being lit, not to the fitting.
